Welcome to Luna’s Garfield, a charming café nestled in the heart of Garfield, Victoria. Conveniently located at 39 Main St, this café transcends the ordinary, bringing a delightful mix of flavors and warm hospitality to every visitor. Whether you're looking for a cozy brunch spot or a refreshing afternoon treat, Luna’s Garfield stands out with its inviting atmosphere and exceptional menu.

The café boasts a vibrant selection of dishes, perfect for anyone looking to indulge in fresh, wholesome food. Start your day with their rich Eggs Benedict, beautifully plated over perfectly poached eggs on warm, toasty hash. Pair it with a side of sautéed Balsamic Braised Mushrooms or perhaps a thick helping of creamy Avocado for that extra touch of indulgence. For those with a sweet tooth, don’t miss out on their heavenly GF almond and raspberry cake—that's a customer favourite! Several reviews highlight the delightful balance of sweetness and zest in their smoothies, like the refreshing Green Smoothie and the fruity Berrynana, making them ideal for a warm day.

What sets Luna’s Garfield apart isn’t just the food; it’s the atmosphere and the people. As one patron, Tyra, shared, after a vigorous hike at nearby Mt. Cannibal, the café provided a stunning backdrop and an even more stunning service experience. Emily and the rest of the friendly staff ensure that everyone feels at home, making you feel like part of the family the moment you walk through the door.

And let’s not overlook the drinks! Sip on their frosty Iced Hazelnut Latte or the refreshing Iced Strawberry Matcha, which Tyra declared the perfect end to a day of exploration. For the kids, menu items like Kids Egg & Bacon and Pancakes promise to please even the pickiest of eaters!

Luna’s Garfield is not only a hub for delicious food and drinks but also focuses on accessibility and inclusivity. The open-floor plan allows for easy navigation for guests with wheelchairs and prams, ensuring everyone can enjoy this delightful space. However, navigating to the toilets is a minor challenge due to an outdoor gravel path, but overall, the thoughtfulness towards accessibility shines through.

Recently, the café expanded its offerings by introducing dinner service along with a liquor license, and guests are raving. With highlights like the beautifully presented roast chicken paired with a mustard sauce that left yet another customer, Tracey, proclaiming it to be the best roast chicken she’s ever had, there’s truly something for everyone at Luna's.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee and a pastry or planning a leisurely dinner with a craft beer in hand, Luna’s Garfield promises an unforgettable experience. So, why don’t you join the growing community of satisfied customers? As another loyal patron, Juls, said, it may even lead you to come back three times in one week—you won’t regret it!

I thought the Cannibal Creek Bakehouse was amazing (and it is!) but you’ve really gotta try Luna’s Garfield. It has all the goodness of the Bakehouse bread and relish next door ( both so good we bought some to take home!) but it has so much more. From this delicious GF almond and raspberry cake which we bought to take home (pictured) each component tasty in itself; to the eggs Benedict with hash brown or breakfast burger, a beef burger with karaage chicken or build your own brekky, we were all delighted! The staff are really friendly and we also enjoyed an outdoor table. What’s not to like! Highly recommend!!

A great little cafe serving a wide range of dishes, well presented and with delicious flavours. Really accommodating with allergens too. We eat here regularly and the food is always of a consistent quality and presentation. The coffee is good too.

Visited Luna’s Garfield for the first time after a hike at Mt Cannibal and absolutely loved it! The scenery was stunning, and Emily, who looked after us, was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Thanks to the rest of the staff as well! We tried the iced strawberry matcha and it was absolutely delicious – the perfect way to finish our day.

Is it too much to come back 3 times in one week? It’s our favourite little cafe which ticks all the right boxes.. Coffee Food Service Ambience Accessibility Friendly Parking Using a wheelchair isn’t easy in many places- but Luna’s access is ramped and open plan, so easy for wheelchairs, walkers and prams (a little more difficult accessing the toilets through the outdoor gravel path though) One thing you MUST try- the lemon curd, berry, & homemade honeycomb pancakes. I challenge anyone to show me a better pancake in all Victoria.. honestly hands down THE BEST! And don’t forget to go get your wood fired sour dough bread next door before you leave.. Mind you, you’ll probably want an excuse to come back tomorrow.. Thankyou.. don’t go changing anything.. see you tomorrow lol

Luna’s very recently opened for dinner having obtained a liquor licence. Happy to see they had a couple of beer favourites (Carlton Draught and Great Northern) as well as a couple of craft beers to try out. We had the ragu and the roast chicken and OMG, the chicken was cooked beautifully and so tasty with the mustard sauce. The best roast chicken I’ve ever had. Beautifully presented as well. Service was very good as well. A fantastic addition to our town.

After trying the pies next door at Cannibal Creek Bakehouse for morning tea, we came back to Luna’s next door a bit later for lunch. Good coffees to start, and can upsize to a mug when you really need a coffee. Tried the scrambled burger with homemade potato hash on the side. This was tasty with halloumi and bacon and is a good breakfast burger. Needed some chutney though. The corn fritters were also good, and filling. Finished off with a great slab of chocolate and peanut butter cake…very nice. Good spot in a nice town to stop for lunch just off the freeway.

From the outside this place is intriguing, doesn't look anything special which makes you think whats inside, and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere was great, and very well set out and decorated. The service was great, fast and friendly. The food and drinks were also delicious and well presented. Probably only 1 thing I can say i was disappointed with, I ordered the hand cut chips and for $12 I was expecting more than what is served. However they were really good, looks and taste.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. They're still developing their GF options, but there are some good choices still. Portable toilets or the back are an interim measure we presumed.
